Gábor Csordás Trio debuted in 2021 with their first studio album “Chasing a dream”, released in DSD and digital on Hunnia Records. After this recording session Adonisz Fábry took over drumming duties in the live version of the band from Tamás Hidász, who recorded the album.
The style of the band is based on traditions of European jazz, but it is also influenced heavily by modern American movements (neo-soul, funk, etc.) and even electronic music. Their sound is also defined by dynamic improvisations and a blend of unexpected influences and styles.
“On the Rhodes again” is result of an experiment where Gábor replaced the acoustic piano sound with a Fender Rhodes Mark I piano, creating a completely different soundscape, which gave the original compositions a brand new shine. The music was recorded live at Mixát Stage.
